Lucky Winner Announced!
Jon Cooke The winning entry was submitted by Jon Cooke, who has an honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science, and is currently studying for a BSc(Hons) degree in Physiotherapy.

He chose to conduct a project to identify whether Inspiratory Muscle Training, using the TRAINAIR®, has a beneficial effect on both quality of life and lung function values in individuals suffering from asthma.

His entry is a quote from one of his subjects, Mrs K of West Mersea, Essex.

Here is the winning story:

"Prior to using Trainair my breathing was terrible, very shallow and not using my lungs to their full potential, causing my shoulders to become stiff and ache. It got to the stage where my asthma had to be controlled by regularly prescribed steroids. Since doing the training sessions, I no longer have to have steroids prescribed - the first time for fourteen years, I am now a regular back in my local gym, and to cap it all off I have become more motivated and even lost weight - Can it possibly get any better?? Trainair has certainly given my life a kick start - THANK YOU!"

Congratulations to Jon, who is now the proud owner of the Digital Camera, and many thanks to everyone who entered the competition. You will find more accounts of TRAINAIR® users' experiences on the 'Good News' page.
